Stream It: Whitesnake, “Love Ain’t No Stranger”

Back in October 2017, Rhino released the first of what would turn into a series of Whitesnake reissues with the band’s self-titled 1987 album, a series which continued in November 2017 with the reissue of SLIP OF THE TONGUE. 2018 brought the band’s fans a pair of live albums – THE PURPLE TOUR (LIVE) and UNZIPPED, but it’s a new year now, which means it’s time to venture back into Whitesnake’s studio discography.

On March 8, Rhino will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of Whitesnake’s SLIDE IT IN by releasing an Ultimate Special Edition of the album, a 7-disc set – that’s 6 CDs and a DVD – which includes newly remastered versions of the UK and US mixes of the album, the 35^th anniversary remixes, a number of unreleased live and studio recordings, concert footage, music videos, and a new interview with Whitesnake founder / frontman David Coverdale.
