Peter Banks 1947 - 2013

Peter Banks, original guitarist of Yes, has passed away at age 65. A founding member of the influential progressive rock band, Banks would supply his innovative guitar work on the band's first two albums YES and TIME AND A WORD before leaving to form another exploratory project Flash. He spent the past few decades continuing to forge a path for prog rock in various incarnations before recording his very own solo album TWO SIDES OF PETER BANKS with the all-star line-up of Jan Akkerman, Phil Collins, and John Wetton.
