OUT NOW: Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie, BUCKINGHAM/MCVIE

Fleetwood Mac fans who know their stuff are aware of a 1973 album called BUCKINGHAM NICKS, a duo consisting of – you guessed it – soon-to-be Mac members Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, but now a new duo is rising from the band’s membership. Mr. Buckingham is still in the mix, but this time he’s recorded an album’s worth of songs with Christine McVie, and if you weren’t otherwise occupied with reading about it, you could be picking up a copy right now!

For the sake of argument, though, let’s say that you want to read about it before picking up a copy.

Entitled LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM / CHRISTINE McVIE, thereby avoiding any possibility of false-advertising accusations, the 10-song album was preceded by the singles “In My World” and “Feel About You,” both of which handily clarified that this musical collaboration was going to be everything that Fleetwood Mac fans could hope for.

And how did this collaboration come about? Well, that seems like a question that Buckingham and McVie should answer themselves…

As we unabashedly mentioned in the opening paragraph, LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM / CHRISTINE McVIE is available now, and it’s available digitally, on CD, and on LP, too. Better yet, the longtime bandmates are going on tour together, too, so you’ll want to check and see if they’re coming to your town. For now, though, here’s the track listing for the album, along with one last reminder to go get your own copy right away!
