Aquarium Drunkard Presents - Settle Down Easy: (Mostly) Acoustic Dead

We're gearing up to launch a new feature on Aquarium Drunkard entitled 'Dead Notes". In short, the series is an attempt to highlight some of our favorite Grateful Dead moments (particularly between the years 1966-73) in a context that does not alienate, and hopefully educates, skeptics. I.E. presenting this music in a manner that is largely free of the circus surrounding the band: dancing bears, tye-dye, and other various and sundry associated baggage. As a pretty massive fan of the band, it was said baggage that kept me away for years. Stay tuned.

Until then, this week's playlist is derived from a couple of old cassettes of live Dead I had in college, largely centered around the softer side of the band.
